SAFE ANESTHESIA EVERY TIME

CAN ANESTHESIA BE BROUGHT TO YOUR OFFICE?

If you are a health care practitioner interested in bringing anesthesia services into your office, please feel free to contact me.  I would be happy to visit your office, hear your ideas, and work with you personally to see if we can safely bring anesthesia into your office.  As a consultant, I would be happy to help guide you through the set-up process, including setting up a proper space for sedation, organizing and purchasing sedation supplies and emergency equipment, and assisting you through any licensing process that may be required.
Following the standards mandated by the American Society of Anesthesiologists, I care for you with the same level of care I provide when working in an Operating Room.  This means I strive to make every anesthetic a safe anesthetic with standard monitoring equipment, multiple back-up airway management devices, emergency drugs, and an AED always readily available. I am with you throughout your procedure, providing not only sedation and anesthesia, but also emotional support.

HELPING YOUR CHILD

BE ABLE TO OFFER MORE

If you are a health care practitioner in the Upper Valley, consider what having a Board Certified Anesthesiologist available to you would allow you to offer your patients.  Settings amenable to office-based anesthesia include dentistry;  minor surgical procedures including such procedures as foot surgery, vasectomies, dermatologic excisions, plastic surgery; GYN offices for exams, IUD placements and removals; IVF offices for egg retrieval; mental health offices for ketamine infusions. I look forward to helping you help your patients.
Taking care of your child is an honor and a privilege.  Making a stressful situation for your child run smoothly and easily is one of the most rewarding aspects of my anesthesia practice.  I am Board Certified in Pediatric Anesthesiology, and I love working with kids.

ANESTHESIA FOR DENTISTRY

ADULT & PEDIATRIC PATIENTS

While uncommon in the North East, many parts of the country offer anesthesia services in the dentist office to both adults and children.  I am excited to be able to bring this service into the Upper Valley. I am confident that I can help you and/or your child in your dentist's office.  Current offices that utilize my services include Santavicca Dental Professionals, PLLC in Lebanon, NH, Upper Valley Endodontics in White River Junction, VT, Upper Valley Esthetic Dentistry in Hanover, NH, and  Sunset Valley Dental in Woodstock, VT.  Joining this list in the near future is Just Kids in Norwich, VT.
KETAMINE INFUSIONS

CHRONIC PAIN & MENTAL HEALTH

ACUV now offers ketamine infusions in mental health practitioners' offices for those suffering with chronic pain and/or treatment-resistant depression and suicidal ideation.  Ketamine infusions have recently been discovered to significantly lessen pain scores in those with on-going treatment-resistant chronic pain; additionally, it has also been shown to be one of the fastest and most efficacious treatments to improve mood, including diminishing/eliminating persistent suicidal thoughts / ideation, even in those who have undergone multiple other treatment modalities including medications, talk therapy, and ECT.  If you are a mental health provider and are interested in bringing the option of ketamine infusions to your patients, I would love to hear from you.  If you are a patient interested in ketamine infusions, I would be happy to speak with both you and your mental health provider to see how we can bring you this innovative option for assistance in your treatment plan.

OPERATING ROOM ANESTHESIA

MAINTAINING EXCELLENCE

In addition to providing anesthesia in the office-based setting, I am a practicing Anesthesiologist who routinely provides anesthetic care in the Operating Rooms of local hospitals, including Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Alice Peck Day Hospital, the VA in White River Junction, and Springfield Hospital.
